‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020’ FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE ECONOMICALLY WEAKER FAMILIES FOR PURSUING HIGHER STUDIES.

The objective of the scheme of ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education.The scholarship ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private college/university. ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the NCVT.

Details – LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship) :

Eligibility Criteria For ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ : 

• Those who have a weak family background are eligible to apply.
• Candidates should get a good score in their previous year exams.
• The applying candidate’s income must not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh per annum.
• The aggregation should be a minimum of 60%.
• Those who have completed their 10th class are also applicable for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020.
• Must have 60% in their 12th standard.
• The candidate should secure more than 55%marks in professional streams and 50% marks in graduation courses in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent grade in the previous final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded.
• Those who wish to take admissions into ITI, Post Graduation in various government and private colleges are eligible to apply.

Duration of  ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ : Scholarship shall be provided for the entire duration of the course for Regular Scholars and for two years for Special Girl Scholar, subject to the candidate fulfilling the requisite eligibility conditions for renewal.

Amount of  ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP- 2020 (LIC Scholarship)’ :

1) An amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected Regular Scholar. 2) An amount of Rs.10,000/ per annum will be awarded for selected Special Girl Child pursuing studies in the 10 + 2 Course .
